Beginning his songwriting journey as a teenager, Gabzy uses his music to explore and express complex emotions, creating a unique blend of Afrobeats with British influences.

His work often reflects two sides of his artistic identity: the upbeat, energetic "Malone" persona and a more introspective, late-night style.

Gabzy's career highlights include the breakout Summers 4Nothin' EP in 2019, a collaboration with Melvitto, and his debut solo EP Malone in 2022 which held a spot on the Afrobeats chart for 13 weeks.

His popularity grew with sold-out UK shows, a UK tour in 2022, and his At The End Of The Night EP. In 2023, he headlined Somerset House and completed a sold-out tour in East Africa. This momentum continued in 2024 with his first US headline show in New York, along with debut performances in Zambia and Ghana, solidifying his international presence.

Throughout his career, Gabzy has collaborated with an impressive roster of top producers, including Guilty Beatz, Dera, Lekaa Beats, Jae5, TSB, Kel P, Juls, Tempoe, and Puffy, blending their distinctive sounds into his evolving style. His collaborations with artists like King Promise, Jayo, Odeal, Nippa, Soundz, Darkoo, BOJ, Blanco, Abra Cadabra, Nasty C, Davido and Majid Jordan have further expanded his reach and showcased his versitility.

Off the back of his 2024 double drop 'Round 1', Gabzy's locked in for 2025, wrapping up his next move – the bold and mature new project: It's Not You It's Summer.
